Welcome to Martin Mattocks Photography,

My name is Martin, I live in Cornwall, South West England I have been a keen amateur photographer for several years now. Landscape and Seascapes are along with Long Exposures in either colour or black & white my main interest, though I do like the Fine Art Black & White genre.

Being surrounded by such a beautiful coastline is very inspirational, as is being in the good company of other fellow photographers. That can be very motivational in itself.

You may of seen my work on Flickr This has many excellent photographers and images that will inspire you, this I do recommend you to visit, but be warned you can find yourself spending literally hours there.

I know I have only just scraped the surface of photography, and there is a lot more for me to learn and understand, but so far it has been a very enjoyable experience..

My favorite photographers are; Josef Hoflehner and Michael Kenna. I have found myself focusing on Black & White images more recently; though I do upload a few in colour also just to let others compare them.
